He has served as a director at the local, state, and national levels of the REALTOR organization and has been President of Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, President of South Carolina REALTORS, and has been recognized as REALTOR of the Year for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, the South Carolina REALTOR, and the Charleston Global Alliance of REALTORS. Owen has held leadership positions for South Carolina REALTORS, the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, Charleston Regional Development Alliance, The Children's Trust of South Carolina, One80 Place, and SPOLETO Bridge. He was Chair of NAR's RPAC Fundraising Trustees Committee and a member of the 2023 NAR Travel Team. Owen is an RPAC Major Investor, a President's Circle member, and an RPAC Hall of Fame inductee.
