Bio

I obtained my real estate license in 1982 before transitioning to a career in nursing. For the past 30 years, I was a registered nurse, providing health care coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our community. As an advocate for inclusion, I strove to ensure that the people I supported were fully integrated into society. Nursing required organization, effective time management, and attention to detail. I have discovered that the same sensibility and skill set translate seamlessly into real estate. Whether ensuring that the tenants in my investment properties receive the highest level of service, assisting a buyer in finding the perfect home or investment property, or working with a seller to craft an effective marketing strategy, I approach each situation with the heart of a teacher. My goal is to guide my clients through every step of the process with clarity and confidence. My husband and I have lived, worked and raised our four children in the Pioneer Valley for over 40 years. They attended local schools and were very involved in sports, music and theater. There are so many positive activities for kids to do (adults too) in this community. I enjoy power walking, working out and traveling the world with my husband, world class jazz bassist Avery Sharpe, to watch him perform. We currently live in Plainfield as empty nesters.
