Shanna Katz has been a team player her entire life. It's a skill that comes in handy in her role as administrative manager for William Raveis New York City, the 100th office of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance (www.raveis.com), the largest family-owned real estate company in the Northeast. The avid softball player keeps her eye on the ball at all times, supporting the office's managing directors and its residential real estate brokers every step of the way. Whether it's handling schedules and reports, gathering listing information, serving as a point of contact for vendors, greeting office guests or coordinating paperwork integral to closing a deal, Katz is ready to pitch in. The transition to residential real estate is a smooth one. Prior to joining William Raveis New York City, she spent three years as an executive assistant at the New York office of Cresa, an international corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants. Before that, Katz worked as an executive assistant for nearly three years at A Logan Insurance, joining the firm at its inception and growing along with it, something she anticipates doing in her post at William Raveis. "I'm excited to be a part of William Raveis New York City from day one and to use my skill set to help the firm's managers and agents excel," says Katz. Katz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Arizona State University. A proud New Yorker for the past nine years, she lives just a short walk away from several members of her family -- and from William Raveis' New York City office.
